Finally I found my form, lost my 2nd match to a guy I gave a 3 start to 6 and the 8 as his extra money ball. It's double elimination, so I beat all of the guys on the loosers side until I got to play the same guy again. This time I was playing real well and beat him hill hill.
In the final I slaughtered the guy 7 to 2, I had to give him a 2 start, so he didn't win a game.
Very very satisfying to finally start to play to my potential. Unfortunately it has taken 5 months and I will be returning home soon to terrorise the fish!
At least over the 5 months my flight has been paid for!
Well done. Enjoying it and copping a few notes to cover some costs - 👍👍

I've spent the late evening "mellowing" outside enjoying my life. I'd like to see my final years out here, hopefully another 20 years or more!
But then the irony slowly dawned on me, so I've put it in a riddle that @Butch will understand in seconds..Perhaps about 5 others will too..
I now live in Ubon
The Province
Not the town
The name is the same
As the place I left

Soi 94 Chaba Massage , it's the only one that's not a rub and tug massage on that Soi ....
Brilliant massage , two older ladies , both great 👍
Appreciate that advice. Only a 5 minute walk from our hotel ( over the footbridge) - we do also go up to the market by the train station and use one up there before food

I have been up this way for 4 months now and am very happy with my life, more so than any other village I have lived in here over the last 30 years! I eat mainly Isaan food which I love because M'Lady is a damned good cook, but I have to say that because she is a Geoff Capes lookalike in his prime and I don't fancy being on the wrong end of her right hook!!!!
The local markets sell all the fresh veggie we need and, along with Tesco Lotus, all the fresh meat ....... except for Aussie beef and lamb. So I have just placed an order with expatfoods for delivery. Shipment costs for transportation, dry ice packaging and box - 399 baht. Sounds a lot but I have added cheese and 20 pies to my meat order !!! (who ate all the pies? you fat bastard you fat bastard!!!)
I'll let you know how things progress ....
Where are you living now ?

There are a group of us who meet monthly for a meal with yesterday being the last such occasion- this morning I know I’ve been out !
The Kensington Arms was the choice this month for 11 like minded gentleman
Lots of decent red wine plus at least 8 pints of Amstel after means today is a gym day to sweat some of it out 😂😂

Great response thank you all. we are only there for two weeks so plenty of excellent suggestions as no doubt we’ll just want to chill some days at the beach / hotel pool.

The wife is headed off to Thailand in 3 weeks time and myself and our son will follow at the end of March for 2 weeks following his week in Greece with the school.
We have enjoyed several trips to HH over the last 8 years with the last visit back in 2018, so no doubt things will have changed.......an assumption.
I know several BM's reside or have visited recently so I'm really just reaching out to see what things we should be looking at occupying our time with. Pretty open to any suggestions so would appreciate any recommendations?.
