Good to hear that. I’m a big fan of massage and not just the happy ending ones. Just too expensive here in the UK. That said we have a massage school near us where you can get lower rates with trainees

Thanks. For me, I have to do a mixture of cardio ( walk, bike, row) plus weights and gentle home stretches etc as I find that covers all bases with the weights n cycling really toning the muscles- it’s just fitting it all in which I need to make time to do. pretty sure you can get back into it !

For me it’s a combo of all 3 - I need to eat a bit healthier, exercise and cut down the booze - all achievable

I’m on a diet since 11th September but really starting to cut down in August when in holiday. I was 120kg then. When I commenced dieting properly on 11th september I was 117.8kg now down to 106.2kg with a target of 100kg. I’m on a total diet replacement whereby you have replacement ‘meals’ with each being c 220kcals each and you’re supposed to have 4 per day but I generally have 3 per day. I do however cheat and have beers on a Friday and Saturday with some food on the weekend as I just can’t do a 7!day strict programme. But be just starting introducing exercise to my routine so hoping this will aid the process and get to my goal by the end of November but then the hard part is sticking to / re introducing daily healthy eating and exercise. I fear I may have to do at least 2 days on the TDR meals to keep a weekly balance - let’s see

A Mark IV Triumph Spitfire which needed work. I remember driving down the high street pumping the brake pedal in attempt to get them to work as the master cylinder was leaking. It was rusted to feck as well. It didn’t last long but caught the eye. My soon next first proper car was a Datsun 120Y in 1989/1990 estate in pale blue with a orange go faster stripe along the side - had some fun times in that machine

Been looking to book the wife and son for the month of August 2024 ( I’m staying in England). Best I can get direct is £1157 with Eva or £1145 with Thai. I think that’s probably the best we are going to get but wondered if folk had any thoughts on that ?

I did read that the Uk gov are choosing not to intervene ( if they could??) or put pressure on insurers as the standard 12% tax they receive from all premiums is just going up and up in a monetary sense. Robbin gits.

Went for an early evening wander

Remember doing work experience in a hotel when I was 14/15 just basic washing up / food prep for a week. I got on well with all the kitchen staff and they offered me part time work after. The second Chef was rare in that he didn’t drink but his passion was fast bikes and he had one of those / I went on the back once and only once. It went like a rocket and I’ll never forget that.

Saw a corker today - a girl say approx 30 years old with lips that wouldn’t look out of place on a gibbon. Looked horrendous
