    What I know as a Chaffinch is much more colourful with a rosey breast, but I just googled it and that is only the male, the female is exactly the same as in my picture. You are correct, good spot.

    A little bird visited me regularly during my 3 days fishing in Shropshire. I think it is a juvenile tit of some kind.
