K1 or K2? I only had the 1000 models. I had a K1 2001 in red, black, silver. Traded it for the K6 in traditional blue and white. Better spread of power, claimed 179 bhp, high in the day. A pal claimed over 100 mph in first gear. It will poodle around in 4th at 30 mph and accelerate cleanly.

A mate had two GPZ900s, both were stolen within a month of purchase. Fortunately his GPZ1000 lasted longer.

Bike porn has been quiet lately. I went to a local meet a couple of weeks ago, good turnout.

After 2 months drinking Leo, a pint of Carling tasted bloody awful

Just finished cleaning up. Whenever I return from holiday the central heating fails. This time it was the circulation pump and 3 way valve. Quite surprised when draining down the water was mostly clear with a slight brown tinge at the end. This is after 30 years. I'm lucky the original installation was done by a mate who is happy to pop round at short notice. I can drain down and bleed the rads but leave the clever stuff to him.
