Anyhow, was in Lidl earlier and glad to say that most people were walking around as normal. Really busy, big queue waiting for checkout. I shouted to me Wife "HURRY UP I''M FEELING ILL, NOT FULLY RECOVERED YET!" The queue dispersed and I was at the till in no time. Hangover I meant, but nobody asked.

Lol I've had high blood pressure all my life, takes more than that to bother me. But the NHS isn't fit for purpose and you're not really funny. My posts are a class above yours.

Yup, same here. My bp averaging 165-175 over 100 and I'm on max dose of pills. Told the Doctor that only alcohol reduces it. He agreed and said yeah, that works best for it. No chance can see a Doctor they simply are not interested.

You cannot see a Doctor in Scotland. They call you back when you call the surgery. I've been trying to see one for over two Months because of blood pressure and a slipped disk in my back. They just prescribe whatever you want to keep you happy. Take your word on bp levels. No chance would you have seen any Doctor in Scotland.

Is that a surprise as they have reduced hospital services by 75% and people are not using or contacting their doctors.

That's if you have 35 qualifying years of paid national insurance. You have the max the basic is £124. Edit, now £129 this year, probably because of covid 19.
