I fly SQ all the time ,until covid it, as I live here.Made a mistake of flying BA once.Shower of shite. They are using the A350 now for London. I flew to London just before COVID hit .For business class the seat is huge width wise. However when you make it into the bed the foot area is tiny and at an angle. Very weird and not so comfortable. Your flat but not straight . Overall still the best airline by miles.Changi airport also fantastic. Im going to london in a few weeks ,looking forward to getting on a plane again. Enjoy your flight with SQ

Changi airport was busy last weekend as things finally start to open up here .Wife and eldest son went back to Thailand. Seems the airlines/ airport havent reinstated all the checkin staff yet. Business class still had a queue. Was going to use the stupid auto machine checkin, but then you have to still queue to drop the bags off after printing everything out. Pointless

Its done. Not going back to what it was. Nothing is. Its a new world. Main stream Media, social media all to blame for the change. But..if you had bought FB shares when they listed youd be up a shed load Smart money will be looking forward.

I live in Singapore so all car prices are skewed and sound wrong . Currently drive a KIA Sorento. I have a year left before I have to scrap my car.10Y certificate of entitlement to keep a car on the road here .Looking for a new car.Thinking either BMW X5 or Jaguar Xpace .Price is stupid ,but get some back after 10yrs.Will do on the never never at virtually zero cost.Owning a car here is effectively a 10yr lease anyways

Im playing most days while here . My favorite time of year to play. Played Siam CC old course which I love. Unfortunately they are sanding everything for the LPGA in Feb Wasn't in the best condition.Played Burapha the other day,which I havent played in years.Enjoyable. At Phoenix most days.Good condition and not too busy. Might venture further afield next week.Told Pattavia is nice.

Funny you mention that.Govt here are already putting out via the media that anyone even attempting thinking about doing such a thing will be arrested on the spot.Changing the law as well for asking for police permission to demonstrate.As usual they are steps ahead. Election here soon. The wealth divide is bigger than ever and yes its all to do with property and money.For years Singaporean citizens have the right to buy Govt built apartments(HDB).This was based on the UK idea of social housing.Problem has come to light that its not freehold,its a 99 year lease.People saved up bought a place, and want to hand it down to their families once they pass away.Suddenly thats only 40 odd years away or a generation and a half.Realization setting in that its just like renting really.You dont ever really own the place.The idea is that the Govt will build a load more new places, tearing down the old, rehouse the tenants and then offer them to buy the new build, ...again on a 99 year lease. Even the locals, as tunnel vision that they normally have, are beginning to see that its just smoke and mirrors, and the only people that really benefit are the developers and Govt...sound familiar

Its crazy, the whole thing has gone to far now. Right back to watching the Buckeyes handing the Huskers a footballing education...

I was there the other week.Landed on the Sunday afternoon the airport express and trains smashed up.Luckily I got the last train into town before it kicked off.Could see streams of protesters heading to the airport along the highway as I was heading into town Tip I was given.Always arrive in the morning as the protesters are still in bed.After 11am it gets going

Also a motive of the card companies. It’s so easy now to tap a card especially a credit card. Before you know it you’ve spent a few grand. With cash in your hand you know your budget. I have fallen into the trap last few months. Scratching my head where the hell did that lot go. All Of a sudden you get a end of month bill and boom they got you. High interest rates and forever in debt. Iv seen it happen here more and more. Debit card from your account is nearly as dangerous. Tap tap tap and suddenly your account is empty. So tap the CC and fall into the trap. I’m going back to basics. Cash is king.
