I've removed it from the mobile version of the forum as i'm working on the help files now.. 😀

Thanks, Phil, but that hasn't done the trick.

The "three bars" are still dead from the "new content" page, although working if I open up a topic.

I'm suspecting that it depends on whether the "help menu" is showing.

It looks like in New Content your browser is not showing the top menu.

I don't think its the forum software or the server as it would happen to many others too .

I don't have this problem and i've never seen it before.

As you can see from mine and your screen shots both browsers have even sides so its not over zoomed in...!

Make sure your browser is not zoomed in and is set to 100% for the forum on your browser...

You can use your fingers to snap it back to size.

In fact, that is not the answer but was the clue to the answer!

The display that comes about by tapping on the three lines is being displayed far over to the right , and off screen.

I've had this problem before and not just this forum. Hasn't happened for some time but it's very annoying when it does.

  • 2 months later...

For the last several weeks, the forum has been taking a long time to load on my Android phone. The page loads about 75% and then stalls for ages.

If I click on a topic before the page is fully loaded, when loading is complete I get taken to a page I didn't want to go to (most often, a member's profile).

Thoughts/suggestions, please.

I thought it was just me, baz... in my case it takes seemingly an age to load the "home" page, but is then much quicker to load any others. Then is that final wait, however, for the page to click into its final position, otherwise yes, you end up on someones profile, or a completely different thread.

Not a problem for me, but I need to remember not to click too fast!

I'm the same, I think it's the 'filters' at the top of the page when loading the new content page on the mobile version, filters that I think are unnecessary and certainly not used by me anyway. Even when you click to 'hide filters' they come back the very next time you click on the new content page. They mean it takes ages to load, so when you open and click not knowing it's still loading due to 'filters', then you accidently click on a member's profile, whomever has last posted usually.  This has been happening to me a lot lately as well.

Thankfully the levels of paranoia is a lot less on this forum than elsewhere, and you don't get accuses of whatever because you've accidently clicked on someone's profile because of the above.

@Lanzalad any chance you can take the 'filters' off, I doubt anyone uses them.

It's a shambles! :default_biggrin:

Not having any problems with my Samsung. Acts exactly like it has been doing for sometime without obvious deterioration.

It's my Samsung tablet that is slow. My Samsung phone is working the same as it always was...!!

Bloomin' computers!!!
