Public transport from surin to cambodia

Done that ... in 2003 ... pretty much the route the previous poster said; in the cabin of a pickup truck with locals on the back, arranged through a travel agent in Surin. A big casino along that route just across the border was being built then, so I assume there is more traffic and better infrastructure these days. Did same route reverse, arranged cabin-passage in local pickup through hotel in Siemreap. The tip then being, go to a travel-agent, I reckon the route is more travelled these days.
