DumbDucker Posted September 15, 2018 Share Posted September 15, 2018 Never done it. But you can get a minivan from the bus station in Surin to Chong Chom which is the big market on the border. cheesekees Posted September 22, 2018 Share Posted September 22, 2018 Done that ... in 2003 ... pretty much the route the previous poster said; in the cabin of a pickup truck with locals on the back, arranged through a travel agent in Surin. A big casino along that route just across the border was being built then, so I assume there is more traffic and better infrastructure these days. Did same route reverse, arranged cabin-passage in local pickup through hotel in Siemreap. The tip then being, go to a travel-agent, I reckon the route is more travelled these days.
