Thanks mate 😊

Just having mental health issues again. Can be hard to deal with at times. Have all the classic symptoms of bipolar,or manic depression in old money.

Need to see my GP about it, maybe she can prescribe something to balance me out. The lows can be a right bitch to live with.

On my 4th pint of ESB listening to an open mic session in my local pub. The more I drink,  the better the band sounds.

Been in that situation many a time in years long past.

Brilliant times and great memories.

Enjoy Mr. Boyd.....

Had a hectic weekend;  been really busy, driving about 400 miles to a friends to pick some items up, been doing washing and ironing yesterday, woke up at 6.15 this morning and dropped Porn off at her hospital and little one off at school.

Just sitting here at home with a cup of tea and I am going to just do fcuk all today, lovely.

Looking at some pics from Sat evening, took wifey over to dinner at this place called "Pacific Catch" She has been here in the good old USA exactly 3 years Saturday. The waiter we had was a tool....she went to the restroom, he came by and told me "Man, she looks dangerous" Maybe being in the older guy category these days, I was not sure what that meant. I got to get with the program 😣

Funny !

Lot of tools around these days.

My nephew the other day (mid-20's) was using lingo I have never heard of. We were cracking up because he uses that shit all of the time and I had no clue.

Kind of like listening to a Brit..... WTF ???  But, always funny.

Just been reading this. Fucking Met Police are a fucking disgrace.

The thing I notice about this report is that in my day the Police were known to be "bovver boys" - basically thugs in a uniform and weren't shy about dishing out a good hiding, or deliberately racist actions against Jamaicans / West Indians etc. However, I can't recall headlines such as this back in the 80's. Corruption was endemic back then, whereas abuse of position is today's problem.

Nowadays it appears they're no different, but instead justify their actions under legislation and misusing the Terrorism acts to their own advantage, or stop / search acts just to place a stamp of authority.

The standard one liner will be "lessons will be learnt".

They no longer Police by consent, and it's no wonder why there's no respect for the uniform or the position anymore.

Had my share of kickings off plod in the past, though did ask for it lol.

Got no time for people who abuse their authority, especially when it involves juveniles.

As you say,no wonder people don't respect them.

Nobody hates a bad cop as much as a good cop does.
