Can you enlighten us Laz on a bit of history on the buckle, what makes it so special mate ??

Buckle was made by Owsley Stanley. This one was purchased by a friend directly from Owsley in the mid-1980s. I recently sold it for him.

Dinner at Olive Garden before our local hockey team played Sat night. Another "dlink" at San Pedro Square before heading into the arena.

They piss me off, 2-1 lead with 2:50 left in the game. Give up a goal have to go to overtime " 3 on 3" Hockey. No score, go to the shootout and we lose 2 shots to 1. I am not happy LOL! Wifey never ceases to amaze with her analysis "Why don't dey try harder to shoot in da net"? @GolfingboyPerhaps you can explain this analysis? LOL!

Love it!

@Yessongs Rule # 1 Mike- Don’t argue with Wifey

Just say yes you agree, you’re very embarrassed that the Sharks made all of SJ lose face and they’ll try better next time

BTW, you see McDavid Friday? Best goal I’ve ever watched in real time, guy went through 4 players !

Spot on assessment Buddy, can I vent some more?  Attendance is down this year alot, 17,452 is a sellout at SAP Arena right? 12,019 attendance this past game. They raised ticket prices again this year, citing revenue loss from Covid for all of 2020. People are fed up, I have one more game this year, Jan 15th to see Sidney Crosby and The Penguins. I assume ticket prices in Edmonton are high too?

12,000……that’s pretty sad for your market I agree. The Penguins were getting 9,000 or so early 1980’s, but the US population was half of what it is now and then they drafted a little Frenchman named Mario. I guess the people have spoken….but 12K is not a good sign

I never lived in Edmonton, Calgary mostly the last 20 years, but even pre-COVID both cities tickets became easier to come by than a decade ago. But I’ve settled in Montreal now and the Oilers game is probably the priciest ticket of the year, Habs suck, but it’s 1/29, a Saturday night, and everyone is flush with their government money still. Plus Connor is definitely the #1 attraction of the league. But I’ll find something last minute, 3 months out and people are dreaming, $1,600 for a pair of rinkside seats, they won’t sell that high come January
